What is meditation?
Meditation can take many forms and does not require sitting in a special posture. Mental or physical exercises used to calm the mind can be referred to as meditation. The key to meditation is to exist one hundred percent in the here and now.

What kind of meditation does Dahn Yoga teach?
Dahn Yoga teaches several forms of meditation which involve developing awareness of the breath or sensations of the body (especially the hands), which may or may not involve sitting. Dahn Yoga also specializes in dynamic moving meditation, including bowing meditation, and free-form dance meditation.
Can I practice this meditation on my own?
Essentially, meditation can be an individual practice, but a teacher can be an invaluable aid in learning a meditation technique and learning with a group of people can enhance the benefits of meditation class.
Is there any religious affiliation or implication with this meditation?
It is possible to practice meditation without subscribing to any particular religious views. However, meditation has been and still is a practice in many Eastern cultures for developing spiritual sensitivity. In many traditions meditation practice is a means for reinforcing ethical qualities.
